Skill Test for the Post of Data Entry Operator
In this test, a candidate should have a data entry speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour.
The duration of the Test is 15 minutes and an English document having about 2000-2200 strokes/key depressions is given to type.

PART A
- Speed of Typing: The speed of 15,000 key depressions per hour will be assessed based on the correct entry of words/key depressions as per the provided passage.
- Test Duration: The test will last for 15 minutes.
- Test Material: Each candidate will receive printed matter in English containing about 3,700-4,000 key depressions to be entered into the test computer.
PART B
- Speed of Typing: The speed of 10,500 key depressions per hour will be assessed based on the correct entry of words/key depressions as per the provided passage.
- Test Duration: The test will last for 15 minutes.
- Test Material: Each candidate will receive printed matter in English containing about 9,000 key depressions to be entered into the test computer.
